Eddie, founder of MedPortfolio, at his graduation

Hi, I’m Eddie.

F1 Doctor. Founder of MedPortfolio.

When I was in medical school, I realised it’s becoming more and more important to go beyond the syllabus. Standing out in medicine matters more than ever, with specialty applications more competitive, job security less certain, and options outside of medicine, or in other exciting related fields, there to be explored.

This is where all those extracurriculars come in: teaching, research, conferences, presentations, shadowing, society roles, audits, electives, awards, and more. The list really is endless. The hard work these things take to achieve should be the tough part, not keeping track of everything.

Myself and plenty of med student and doctor friends would often lose track of stuff. Teaching feedback lost in a student email. Research going nowhere because nothing was reminding you to keep it moving. An online course whose certificate you can no longer find. These are exactly the kinds of problems MedPortfolio is built to solve.

MedPortfolio keeps your whole portfolio in one place: evidence attached to each entry, a timeline of what you’ve done, to-do tracking, and a CV that builds itself and updates live as you go. It’s simple and easy to use, so you spend your time actually doing the extracurriculars rather than organising them in some random drive.

Feel free to sign up and see if you’d find it useful. I’d really value any feedback, we’re always looking to improve it so people like you get the best experience out of it.
